Tokyo Day 1 - Part 1

Took a night flight on 18 Nov and arrived Japan the next morning!



Been some time since I took a plane. Really didn't like the feeling of your ears clogged up. Bearable but uncomfortable!! Sour plums I bought helped ABIT.

We were then fetched from the airport to our hotel! Reached about 10am but was told that the hotel check-in time was 2pm. So we could have a little sight-seeing before going back! ^_^

Luckily the subway station was just opposite our hotel! CONVENIENT! >_< Went down and saw..





And the ticket booths! Cool~ Gin Lee helped us bought our first tickets!!















Hehe for today like this first! Anyway didn't take much environment photos on the first day! BUT no worries!! Ming took them ALL!! So go his side for artsy amazing photos!!

A two-minute animation clip done by the seven of us for our 3rd Final year project in three months.

After winning Singapore's Digicon, our clip will be sent to Japan to compete with other Asian countries! Somehow concluded that me and ming will be representing the team to TOKYO!! HOLY cheese!! (omg omg omg omg omg)

Still think that any rest of you all deserve the opportunity more than me to go out there.. Paiseh.. T_T

Well, it's a frightening thing too!! >_< The very first time for me to leave the country without my family! And ming's first time to EVER leave the country! Oh gosh. Two blurs that can get themselves lost at city hall and took almost an hour to reach Liang court, are going JEERRRRRPANNNNNNN!!! Two slices of spring onion floating on a BIG bowl of miso!! Ok at least we have a float, aka Gin Lee, Straits Times Digital Life Journalist, who will be going with us =)

Hotel 626

Omg omg omg omg..

After the .Rec movie that night, I had phobia taking a bath and had to ask my mum sit on the toilet bowl to accompany me. I didn't dare walk around the house with lights off and I look at my beloved Berry, suspecting if he'll one day catch virus and turn zombish.

Finally overcome every scary thought BUT will still flashback once awhile. Attempted to watch the trailer in daryl's blog since I hadn't seen it, but COINCIDENTLY sis 'barge' (actually just a small noise but it amplified in my head) in and gave me a jump. She dont want company me watch so i closed the window T_T

Then she told me about Hotel 626!! A online web horror game.
" It is called Hotel 626 because you can only check in Hotel 626 from 6pm-6am and you are asked to play the game in the dark, using your headphones and microphone. At some point you have to sing a lullaby to a sleeping zombie child. "

Snack Stock Up !

Home is really still the best~ After a day's work, a long shop, a long train trip, i can't wait to get HOME!!!!! The shower, the food i da bao-ed, the TV, BERRY!

Office snacks (my awake kit), are 7788-ed gone! So its time to buy MORE~ Went Liang Court, japanese supermarket with my colleagues (ada, huituing, yong lin) and spent about $27? I shall show why! =D



1 - Pik Nik Ketchup Fries! $1.95
The most worth-it snack!!! Cheap and Good! Super yummy! >_<

2 - Swiss Cocoa Marshmallow drink $5.60 for 10 packs
Sharing it with siying so overall is not tht exp! Besides coffee, this is another drink that WAKES ME UP! Inside really provides the small marshies! But can add your own bigger ones =D

3 - Nissin Udon $3.95
Tried a $5 bigger one and it was.. *gulps*.. YAAAA..MEEE!!! *pulls face dowwwn* The Udon noodle was really thick and SLURPY! Gonna try this smaller similar one haha.

4 - Squid Chips $3.55
Never tried it. Looks good ;D

Haha shopping for FOOD is fun. And most of the time irresistible! Need alot self-control to make the right decisions tsk tsk tsk.. Almost bought a $8 rabbit bowl too!! Thought mum would like it.. But ada commented Daiso cheaper. YESSSS. DAISO. I will visit there. HWAHAHA.

Dragged home all the stuff, had a lightning bath (have to be quick or i would'v missed the tv show), set up my dinner nicely in front of the tv..



1 - JOLLY SHANDY (free cos its from home)
Honestly my favourite drink!! When you are SO thirsty and TIRED and TIRED. This very gassy COLD drink will just *gulp gulp gulp* ~ahhhh...~, RELAX me! >_< So shocked to see Lychee and Peach flavour on sale o_o Well, its not so bad. Lemon best though!
Side note- I really miss the older packaging, complete green de. Though looks more alcholic type, but this current one reminds me of 7-up!

2 - Katsu chicken rice $3.50
Haha the prices for packed food will drop when its at night! This was initially $5 plus i think. After re-heat, its as yummy as new! =D



WAHAHA. Prices for these sashimi dropped too!

When I just came back, sis was still saying 'It's Halloween Night and TGIF! You so boring not going anywhere?'

Haha though it would be nice and happening to be dancing under disco lights, participate in a cool costume party and all, but for today i only want to stay home with my jolly shandy and food and berry~ ^_^

The corny Stitch is from a shop call 'Popcorn'? At explanade. It's super CUTE! HAHAHA. Caught my eye the moment i saw that area! His weird face makes him really special!!!!! (diana agreed haha) But it cost $18. THAT THING cost $18? .. Too bad.. No fate to bring it home =( His ear also fling in a weird direction! The wrongness made him so RIGHT!

2ND
A chart shop at Liang Court. This Bat Dog is a coin bank. Just looks -_-'' .. But really cute haha. Forgotten the price.

3RD
Nothing amazing but very interesting! First time saw COFFEE flavour marshmallows! And what? DARJEELING TEA flavour too?? Not those kind where inside got choc cream etc. The WHOLE thing is flavoured! CooL!

Haha end of Liang Trip. Considered fulfilling trip. Cos my main mission (buy food) is SO accomplished o_o. And i really donno what to do with my constantly-broke problem!

New Blogskin!

Oh YESS!!! Finally changed my blogskin (or template)!!! Even if its one of the default layouts!! Couldn't stand the green le zz.. And i quite like the CLEAN look now~ Alot of space.. *sniffs air~ ahhh~ =D

Spent quite awhile to just add the tagbox in. Blogspot says there's a missing tag somewhere and cannot save template, so i re-read (& re-read..& re-read) html.. And the link list.. BUT nvm! It's all figured out! wahaha takes time but i did it.

Widgets part fun too! Heh heh added JOKES~(WOHOO!), daily cat & dog photos! Wanted add stuff like 'Finance Tips' and 'Weight Tips' etc but have error haha.
